A Prodigious Love: Anonymous

What would life be like if no one knew your name or who you are?

You could still buy the things you need.

You could still attend a concert, take a vacation, or eat out at a restaurant.

It is possible for much of life to be lived anonymously as a series of impersonal transactions.

However, that was probably not what Christ had in mind when he came to earth to live among his children.

That probably was not his intention when he ate meals with his friends, and even with people who were somewhat less than friendly. (See the Gospel of Luke for ten, very unique meal stories.)

For certain the Last Supper was meant to be a time of personal sharing that would be celebrated until the end of time.

Perhaps celebrations like the Mass are occasions when mutual caring, not anonymity, is the best way to make worshiping together most meaningful.
