Bishop Noonan made a surprise appearance at the 9:30am Mass this morning. He told us that the Diocese of Orlando received this letter from Pope Francis in August, dated June 28, 2019:
"The Supreme Pontiff Francis enrolls Reverend Richard Marian Walsh of the Diocese of Orlando as Chaplain of His Holiness given at Vatican on June 28 during the Year of our Lord 2019."
This letter states that Fr. Walsh is now a Monsignor! Congratulations!
