St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church is eligible to receive grants from The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida Donor Advised Fund program.

As part of the service for Donor Advised Fund holders, provided an online donor portal that will include a profile on your parish. Details on this program that supports hundreds of non-profits and helps donors achieve their philanthropic goals can be found on the website at

A Donor Advised Fund serves as a donor’s charitable checking account. A donor makes a donation to their fund of cash, stocks or other assets which is invested for growth and permits the donor/advisor to make gifts of income and principal to multiple qualified organizations over time. Donors can also name fund successors so families can transition values and continue their legacy of philanthropy. Giving through  the Donor Advised Funds provides donors more impact with our socially responsible investing (SRI) which ensures that their donations support not only our parish but are also managed in union with the USCCB investment policies: protecting human life; promoting human dignity; reducing arms production; pursuing economic justice; protecting the environment, and encouraging corporate responsibility.

They would be happy to assist you with increasing charitable revenue through development of promotional materials informing donors about this unique giving tool or by collaborating on social media campaigns. The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit community foundation committed to raising, managing and distributing charitable funds to support our community and impact lives.  The mission is to inspire and increase giving, to prudently invest the resources entrusted to us, and to capably steward charitable gifts to support the spiritual and corporal needs of the Diocese of Orlando.
