NEW Women’s Ministry at St. Margaret Mary!
We are excited to launch the Mary Martha Circle Women’s Ministry for all women of the parish who wish to gather for fun and fellowship as they grow in their faith and seek to build a deeper connection with our parish community.
Why “Mary Martha”? In the Gospel of Luke, these two women are gentle reminders that in the busyness of life, even if we are doing good things, we can miss what matters most: simply being with Jesus. I think most women can relate to being a "Martha", anxious, distracted, and working hard to serve; and a "Mary", quietly sitting with Jesus and listening to his words. With Jesus' help, we can find the right balance between the two as we're called to love like Mary and serve like Martha.
