Tuesday, October 3rd 5-8pm
902 Lee Road, Orlando (in the Wal-Mart Plaza Parking lot)
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide. This year’s Orlando event will include live music, the OverRice Food Truck, a firetruck, the OneBlood blood donation bus, participation by Orange County Library (Fairview Shores Branch), a prize wheel with giveaways, a games station (oversized yard games), a coloring and face-painting station, a booth by local non-profit Chrysalis Home, and booths by other local businesses.
All SMM parishioners are invited to attend. We also need help staffing our table and distributing diapers. You can volunteer below.
