Prayer of the Faithful
Presider: With great persistence and faith we make our needs known to God.
Response: Lord, here our prayer.
Cantor: we pray to the Lord,
That all members of the church strive to deepen their faith and express it through concern for others . . .
That all peoples come to the salvation God offers . . .
That the sick be healed, the rejected find acceptance, and the rebuffed receive courage . . .
That each of us here become more aware of what within us needs healing and come to Jesus for salvation . . .
Presider: Merciful God, you offer healing and salvation to all who cry out to you. Hear these our prayers that one day we might enjoy the fullness of Life with you in heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord.Amen.
