Easter: Project Rachel

Written by Mike Roche’s father: Bill Roche, A parishioner of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Diocese of Venice

We, as the People of Life, celebrate Easter for it is the day our Lord conquered death. It is His victory over the evil one. Consequently, it is our victory as well. Given the joy and hope of the Easter season, this is an excellent time to reach out to our sisters, brothers and all impacted by procured abortion to let them know God’s mercy heals all wounds. If you or a loved one is carrying the grief and sorrow of a past abortion, please come back to God who is love and mercy. Hope and healing can be found at Project Rachel, a confidential, nationwide Catholic ministry based in forgiveness for all those suffering after an abortion, Catholic and non-Catholic. If this would aid you or someone you know, please take action “now”. For more information, call Project Rachel toll free at 888-456-HOPE (4673) or e-mail [email protected] or go online to www.hopeafterabortion.com. If you are not from this area, the website has a map which identifies Project Rachel locations nationally. Our warmest wishes for a blessed and happy Easter season.
