Volunteer Registration
Thank you for volunteering to help with our Thanksgiving & Christmas Stores We are grateful for your help. There are many jobs involving setting up, making deliveries] helping our families shop and breaking down each event.
Adult General Volunteers
Please register for any of the jobs that most suit your schedule. For questions, please contact Marisa at [email protected].
Adult Delivery Volunteers
For those who are volunteering to make deliveries, we would like to share the following information before you register:
• Your safety and that of the families we serve is our number one concern.
- All volunteers drivers must be adults over the age of 21. Families may make deliveries together.
- We will be delivering food to homebound families for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- You will be lifting bags of food; some bags may be as heavy as 15-20lbs.
High School Volunteers
Under a new church policy, all high school volunteers must attend an orientation session with the SMM youth group prior to signing up on this program. Two of these sessions were announced and held in October. An additional session has been added. The date is:
Sunday, Nov. 12th at 4pm
Prior to the Confirmation meeting in the youth group room. Please be aware that you may be lifting food and other items which can be heavy.
