Weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Every Friday after 8am Mass
St. Margaret Mary Alacoque received revelations from the Lord who implored her to promote devotion to His Sacred Heart. During these revelations, a "Holy Hour" of reparation was also requested by Christ. Eventually the idea of spending a "Holy Hour" before the Blessed Sacrament evolved. This quote from St. Margaret Mary emphases the importance of Eucharistic Adoration in our lives:
"My greatest happiness is to be before the Blessed Sacrament, where my heart is, as it were, in Its center."
Our parish patron saint showed intense love for the Blessed Sacrament and a devotion to His Sacred Heart all her life. Her message to us even today is clear: the opportunity to pray and be in the presence of the Eucharistic Lord can change hearts. Adoration is a time to be close to Christ, to receive His mercy and love in abundance, and to pray for the needs of all.
In order to maintain weekly Adoration on Fridays at our parish, we need people to sign up. Whatever amount of time you have will be most welcome.
Below is the signup form. Each time slot is for one hour. After we receive the required two signups for a time slot an asterisk (*) will appear next to the time, but you are still more than welcome to signup for this time.
