St. Margaret Mary parish offers several opportunities and programs for Scripture studies or spiritual enrichment. We always encourage new participants.
Men’s Bible Study
Tuesdays – 7:00 am – 8:00 am
No registration is required.
Our men’s Bible study group is led by Fr. Walsh. The group is open to all men of the parish (18 and over). Come join the group for lecture, faith sharing, prayer on the upcoming Sunday’s readings, fellowship, and unlimited free coffee.
Study books are provided at the first meeting.
The group meets September through June.
Women’s Bible Study
The Women’s Bible Study group offers two Scripture based studies per year – one in the fall (typically beginning late September/early October) and one in the spring (typically beginning in January/early February).
The studies are held in 8–10-week sections on:
- Thursday mornings - 9 am – 10:30 am – in person session
- Thursday evenings - 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm – Zoom session
The study participants are encouraged to watch the video presentation and complete reflection questions at home or in advance of the Zoom session. There may be optional reading included in the study as well. During the in-person sessions, the group will review the video presentation and then break into small groups for prayer, faith sharing, and discussion. The Zoom sessions are focused on prayer, faith sharing, and discussion.
Participants are required to purchase their own study materials.
Advance registration is required.

Frequently asked questions:
What if I’ve never read or studied the Bible before?
It’s okay! No specific academic or Bible study background is needed for any of our study options. Many first-time participants who come to Bible study have never read or studied Scripture on their own. We all come to learn!
What if I don’t have time to prepare as suggested for a session?
You are encouraged to attend even if you didn’t have time to prepare at home with the assigned readings or videos, if applicable for your study. The Spirit still works and inspires us. Come anyway!
