Family Faith

Family Faith is learning opportunity for families.  Our two-hour sessions host students and  parents together in learning the different aspects of our faith.  This is a wonderful, nurturing environment to connect and learn with other families in our parish.  A typical session will be:

• 5:30 Mass in the Church
• 6:00 Family Dinner
• 6:30 Lesson and Discussion

For students in grades Pre School through Fifth Grade:

Since our sessions meet once a month, attendance is expected, especially for students preparing for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.  In the weeks when sessions are not offered, students will complete and submit small faith-based assignments to deepen their faith and continue their learning at home.

For students in grades Six through Twelve:

We encourage you to join us at Family Faith sessions once a month as an additional supplement to our regular youth events. There will be opportunities here to serve and volunteer and to see Parish life from a new angle. There is certainly so much beauty in seeing faith alive amongst all the different generations within our Parish as we all gather together to celebrate our faith and to learn more.

This is optional of course, but we encourage you to be a part of this event within Parish life here at St. Margaret Mary in the hopes that it feeds your own faith life.
