  • 2007: Named “Distinguished Pastor” by National Catholic Educational Association for his support of Catholic education.
  • 2013: Received the “Hope and Diversity Award” from the Hope Community Center
  • 2014: Honored recipient at the Bishop Moore Catholic Legacy Gala for his outstanding commitment and support of Catholic education.
  • 2015: Received the Bishop Grady Villas Lifetime Legacy and Community Service Award
  • 2019: The Supreme Pontiff Francis enrolls Reverend Richard Marian Walsh of the Diocese of Orlando as Chaplain of His Holiness, making him a Monsignor
