Hearing Loop
St. Margaret Mary has installed a Hearing Loop in the Church and Chapel.
The loop is to assist those with hearing loss hear more clearly during services. A hearing Loop is an assistive listening system that transmits sound directly into one’s hearing aids or cochlear implants, if equipped with at T-coil/telecoil, rather than depending on sound coming from the loudspeakers. To receive the Loop signal and hear more clearly, you will need to manually activate your T-coil or “telephone” setting on your hearing aid or cochlear implant. If you don’t know if you have a T-coil or whether yours is properly programmed, consult with your audiologist or hearing aid professional.

Auracast Hearing Assistance
Our church is equipped with Auracast™, a Bluetooth hearing-assistance technology that allows compatible hearing aids, earbuds, headphones, and other devices to receive audio directly from our church sound system.
To use Auracast, turn on Bluetooth on your compatible device and look for the available Auracast or broadcast audio connection. Depending on your hearing aids or device, you may need to use the manufacturer’s app to connect.
Once connected, you can hear the Mass more clearly through your own hearing aids, earbuds, or headphones and adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
