No Act of Love is Lost

Working together we can impress upon our fellow Americans the truth that abortion is a grave injustice that corrupts our entire society and retards progress on all the other issues that concern us from street crime to the economy. But at times the seeds of doubt invade our conscience. We may question is the time and effort worth it? Can my solitary efforts affect such a grave ill? When the evil one invades our thoughts with such drivel, we should recall these words of our Holy Father, Pope Francis:

“No single act of love for God will be lost, no generous effort is meaningless, no painful endurance is wasted. All of these encircle our world like a vital force.”
-Evangelli Gaudium

With the Holy Father’s good thoughts in mind, we must realize that we may never personally witness the positive results of our endeavors but we must remain steadfast in our commitment to protecting the weakest and most vulnerable among us as our acts of love will “encircle our world like a vital force”.
