We all know It’s not an easy time to be a child in today’s world. Confusing messages about sexuality, mental health, and gender identity are everywhere, making it harder than ever for young people to figure out who they really are.
Christ has given us the perfect blueprint for discovering who we are meant to be and how we are meant to give and receive love.
All parents, grandparents, and all adults interested in hearing more about how to have sensitive conversations about the dignity, gender, sexuality, and how to give “The Talk” are invited to a short presentation on Friday, November 3, 8:30-9:15am in the parish hall. Gather for Mass on this First Friday at 8am, followed by free breakfast and presentation in the parish hall.
Presenters: Jeanie Dunn & Patrick Mokris of the SMM Theology of the Body Team. Presentation is geared to support for parents with children in pre-K – 8thgrade.
