The St. Margaret Mary Young Adults Ministry is a community of adults between the ages of 22 and 35 who are seeking to grow in friendship and faith through formation, prayer, service, and social events. According to the National Dialogue on Catholic Pastoral Ministry with Youth and Young Adults, “The vision of this ministry is an energized and unified Church, where young adults-as missionary disciples-help bishops and pastoral leaders to integrate all the many great things happening with young adults through shared dialogue, resources, and commitments.” In doing so, we believe a faith-filled community is vital in this time of life as we pursue holiness in our studies, our work, and our relationships with others.
Our passion is to create a warm and welcoming environment where young adults have a place in their community to call home. Our leadership team believes the best way to reach that goal is to have a strong presence in the parish community. While each leader is not expected to attend every event, he or she should be intentional about attending when able. Planning meetings are scheduled monthly to ensure all members of leadership have the support they need to carry out their specific duties.
