The Mary Martha Circle will be hosting our 4th Annual Advent by Candlelight event on Tuesday, December 1. Women of the parish are invited to join us for a special evening of dinner, fellowship, and an Advent reflection presented by keynote speaker, Sr Kristi Bergman, SCTJM. The cost of the event is $20.00 per person. Proceeds from the event will go to support a local women’s ministry.
What is Advent by Candlelight? The Advent by Candlelight event is fashioned on a “Dinner on the Avenue” style; meaning each table group of 8 will work together to plan and provide table decorations (based on an Advent theme), a meal, and tableware for their table.
Each table will have a table leader who will coordinate the efforts among the table group.
The event is a wonderful way to renew, refresh, make new friends, and refocus one of the most sacred times in our Church year – the season of Advent.

- Registration for a table group of 8 is not available this year.
- Each table leader will register and pay the registration fee individually.
- Table leader registration opens on October 5
- As a table leader, you agree to:
- Invite 7 other people to join your table group
- Coordinate the table group in planning your food, drinks, and table decorations.
- Notify your invited table guests to:
- Register during the individual registration period which begins October 19
- Select your name as their table leader when they register to be seated at their table.
- Each individual/table guest will register and pay the registration fee individually.
- Individual registration opens on October 19
- Individuals invited to a specific table must select their table leader’s name when they register to be seated at that table.
- Due to the limited space for the event, registration is not secured until payment has been made. Payment is due by credit card at the time of registration.
- Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
