Next hosting week is December 1-8
Help offer safe, welcoming shelter in our Family Life Center to parents and children who are homeless. Parish volunteers will provide hot meals and hospitality to about 14 guests December 1-8. As part of a faith-based family shelter program, SMM partners with Family Promise of Greater Orlando to help families experiencing homelessness achieve self-sufficiency. Families working with Family Promise caseworkers to attain permanent housing are offered short-term shelter in host congregations. SMM hosts families during 4 weeks spread throughout the year.
