Promise 5: I will pour abundant blessings on all their undertakings.
By reassuring me God will bless my efforts, this promise gives courage to strive towards difficult goals. It’s hard to notice blessings if I become too immersed in projects; by reflecting on (perhaps writing down) blessings, I can become open to new challenges. To attain the promise I must honor the Sacred Heart. The Feast of the Sacred Heart Gospel calls me to yoke my undertakings to Jesus’. Besides specific devotions, spreading love honors the Sacred Heart. Homeschooling is an undertaking that has brought blessings; the close relationships among our sons and opportunities to grow together have blessed us deeply. Organizing interfaith dialogue groups resulted in requests for additional interfaith activities and in the blessing of new friendships. Truly, God has blessed my undertakings richly.
